Professional Summary:
I began my music career with classical guitar lessons during my childhood at local music schools. After two years, I was introduced to ”Metallica's symphony performance”, which changed my artistic path. I decided to learn electric guitar and took lessons from various teachers in my city for one year. Then, I started self-learning and covering songs from bands such as Metallica, System of a Down, Pantera, Joe Satriani, etc. I participated as a novice guitarist in several local concerts with my teachers and received several commendation plaques from the city and provincial culture authorities.
For ten years, I taught guitar lessons in music schools in Mazandaran and Tehran. Meanwhile, I participated in workshops and performances of prominent musicians such as "Lily Afshar" and "Homayoun Majd-Zadeh". I became interested in jazz and blues and self-learned this genre through notes like "Joe Pass" and "Jody Fisher." Later, I participated in the "Mahaneh Mirarab" workshop, which is a beautiful blend of Iranian music and jazz.
In 2014 , I launched my music studio called ”Master,” which currently offers live room, music recording, songwriting, mixing, mastering, and music lessons taught by myself and several other prominent teachers. One of the achievements of this academy is that I formed several local rock and metal bands with my students and friends and performed various concerts.
2017
In 2017, following a collaboration with one of my artist friends, Adel Mehraban, who plays the "Oud," "Tonbak," and "Setar," ideas of combining "Iranian traditional music" with "metal music" formed in my mind. In order to learn more about Iranian music, I enrolled in a music college term.
NAVA
Due to my desire to do all the work on my album "Nava" myself, I took classes with "Ramin Pir" to obtain a mixing and mastering certificate.
I must say that my familiarity with the Band “Animals as Leaders" had a significant impact on the mood, mixing, and even mastering of my album. As a result, I brought my ideas to the album in the style of “Progressive" and “Djent" with microtones and modes from Iranian traditional musical instruments.
At the same time, I am collaborating with another group called"Sarousht" with the vocals and composition of"Ebrahim Jokar" in the alternative style. This album also includes songs in the Mazandarani language and some corners of local music. My activities in this group include playing, composing, arranging, recording, mixing, and mastering.
